We are delighted to announce that we are now an official member of the Belfast Business Promise. Our membership was officially recognised at the Promise Learning Day, where we joined a growing network of businesses committed to making Belfast a better place to live, work, and do business.

Our CEO Albert Hamilton attended the event, along with Head of Operations Joanna Rakowska and Research Officer Roxy Thompson.

The event featured valuable insights from key speakers such as Department for the Economy Permanent Secretary, Ian Snowden.

One of the highlights of the day was NOW Group CEO, Maeve Monaghan’s presentation and hearing more about the JAM Card initiative, which supports individuals with communication barriers. We have supported the JAM Card initiative for several years and look forward to seeing the positive impact of the Belfast Business Promise’s JAM Card Bursary, which will help other businesses join us in supporting the ‘Just a Minute’ scheme.

We enjoyed the presentation of member awards, recognising businesses that have gone above and beyond in their commitment to social responsibility.

Hearing from High Sheriff Councillor Fiona McAteer, and Councillor Paul Doherty, Chair of the Social Policy Working Group, further underscored the vital role that businesses play in shaping a thriving, inclusive economy.

The Belfast Business Promise is Belfast City Council’s accreditation for employers that are working to improve Belfast. The aim is to work together to make Belfast a better city to provide good jobs, support a sustainable local economy and build a healthier city.  This was a great event for networking with other like-minded businesses who are investing in making Belfast better

Our membership in the Belfast Business Promise reaffirms our dedication to responsible and ethical business practices.
